Ramakrishna Mission Nivedita Educational and Cultutal Centre, Darjeeling

This centre at ‘Roy Villa’, a heritage building in Darjeeling, where Sister Nivedita (Margaret Elizabeth Noble) breathed her last, was started in 2013.
Activities:

1. A permanent exhibition on the life and teachings of Sister Nivedita in the room where she lived.
2. A unit of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa for poor children.
3. A Balak Sangha.
4. A coaching centre for underprivileged students.
5. A computer training centre.
6. Medical camps.
7. Religious activities: Religious lectures outside the ashrama and occasional spiritual retreats.
8. Welfare activities: Providing blankets, ration kits and educational and medical aid.
