Ramakrishna Mission, Raiganj

Started as Ramakrishna Ashrama in Raiganj in 1948, it was taken over by the Ramakrishna Mission in 2020 and renamed ‘Ramakrishna Mission’.

Activities:

1. An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary.
2. Twenty-four medical camps at two villages.
3. A unit of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa.
4. A study circle.
5. Religious activities: Regular religious discourses, occasional spiritual retreats, and celebration of the birth anniversaries of the Holy Trio and other spiritual luminaries as well as other festivals.
6. Welfare activities: Providing purified drinking water, educational kits, and educational scholarships.

Sub-centre at Chhatrapur:
Located 6 km away from the main centre, this sub-centre was inaugurated in January 2024. Its main activities are:

1. A unit of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa.
2. A dispensary.
3. Welfare activities: Providing ration kits.
