Ramakrishna Mission, Sahudangi

Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashram, Sahudangi Hat, was founded in 1973. It was taken over by the Ramakrishna Mission in 2022 and renamed ‘Ramakrishna Mission’.

Activities:

1. A primary school (nursery to class 4).

2. A hostel for underprivileged students.

3. A coaching centre.

4. A homeopathic dispensary.

5. Eye camps, general medical camps, and a blood donation camp.

6. Religious activities: Daily worship, regular spiritual classes, occasional spiritual retreats, and celebration of the birth anniversaries of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.

7. Welfare activities: Distribution of ration kits, clothes, blankets, and winter garments.
