Ramakrishna Mission, Sahudangi

Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashram, Sahudangi Hat, was founded in the year 1973. It was taken over by the Ramakrishna Mission in 2022 and renamed ‘Ramakrishna Mission’.

Activities:

• A primary school (nursery to class 4).
• A students’ hostel.
• A coaching centre.
• A homeopathic dispensary.
• Eye and medical camps.
• Religious activities: Daily worship, regular spiritual classes, occasional spiritual retreats, and celebration of the birth anniversaries of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.
• Welfare activities: Distribution of ration kits, clothes, blankets and winter garments.
