Ramakrishna Mission, Shyamsayer

Burdwan Sree Ramakrishna Ashram was taken over by the Ramakrishna Mission in 2018 and served as a sub-centre under the direct supervision of the Headquarters for about a year. It was made a full-fledged branch in 2019.
Activities:

1. A students’ home.

2. Welfare activities: Providing blankets, clothes, and pecuniary and medical aid.

3. Religious discourses and celebration of major religious festivals and the birth anniversaries of the Holy Trio.

4. Daily morning chanting and evening classes, Ma Naam Sankirtan on Tuesdays, and Ramnam Sankirtan on Ekadashi days.
