The centre is coming up on a five-acre plot of land allotted by the Government of West Bengal at a prime location in the city. The construction work, which started in November 2014, is in progress. Presently, an auditorium (resembling the famous Art Institute in Chicago, USA) and a ten-storey building for the proposed activities have been inaugurated.
