The ashrama was started in 1957 and made a branch of the Mission in 1968.

• An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary with a number of departments including psychiatry, paediatrics and physiotherapy sections.
• A public library with 62,984 books and 18 periodicals.
• Publication of Vivek Jyoti, a Hindi monthly.
• A Students’ hostel.
• Religious activities: Daily worship, fortnightly Ramnam Sankirtan, spiritual retreats, religious classes, public lectures, spiritual retreats, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious teachers.
