Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Institute of Values, Gurugram

This centre was started in 2022 as a sub-centre of the New Delhi branch. It was made a full-fledged branch the following year.

Activities:

1. Values education:
   a. Awakened Citizen Programme (a three-year graded values education programme for school students from class 6 to 9): Teachers’ training workshops and principals’ orientation programmes were held. Schools were visited by the resource persons, and classroom observations were recorded.
   b. Awakening (values education programme for school students from class 1 to 5): Teachers’ training workshops were held.
   c. ARISE (a parents’ motivation programme): Workshops were held.
   d. Other programmes for the empowerment of teachers, housewives, senior citizens, students, etc.

2. Religious activities: Daily worship, evening arati, Ramnam Sankirtan on Ekadashi days, occasional spiritual retreats, weekly religious classes, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.

3. Welfare activities: Monthly distribution of food to indigent people.
