Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Smriti Mandir, Khetri

This branch centre, started in 1959, is housed in the mansion where Swami Vivekananda stayed as the honoured guest of the Raja of Khetri, Sri Ajit Singh, on two occasions.

Activities:

• A primary school (nursery to class 5).
• Three units of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa and a unit of Vivekananda Abhyudaya Prakalpa.
• Vocational training centres provided training in tailoring to girls, and in handicrafts to students.
• A computer training centre.
• A public library.
• A homeopathic dispensary and eye camps.
• A museum on Swami Vivekananda.
• Welfare activities: Distribution of sewing machines, winter garments, educational stipends, and providing potable water.
• Religious activities: Daily prayer and bhajans, fortnightly Ramnam Sankirtan, spiritual retreats, and celebration of the birth anniversaries of the Holy Trio and other religious personalities.
