Vedanta Centre of Greater Washington, D.C.

The centre was established in 1997 on a two-and-half acre plot of land surrounded by woods.

Activities:

1. A summer camp for children.

2. A medical clinic.

3. Religious activities: Daily worship, meditation, vesper service, Karma Yoga Day, classes, lectures, and celebration of the festivals such as Kalpataru Day, Shiva Ratri and Kali Puja and the birthdays of religious personalities.
