Vedanta Society of St. Louis, USA

The Society was started in 1938. Swami Chetanananda is the Minister-in-charge of this affiliate of the Ramakrishna Math.

Activities:

1. A library with 2822 books.

2. A publication unit with 31 titles in circulation.

3. Religious activities: Sunday services, classes including chanting, Interviews to students and spiritual aspirants, weekly study circle, retreats, lectures, vigils, and celebration of the annual Vivekananda Festival, the birthdays of the Holy Trio, Swami Brahmananda and other religious luminaries and the other religious festivals.

Vedanta Society of Kansas City

Founded in 1947, this has been functioning as a sub-centre of the Vedanta Society of St. Louis since 2005. Regular services, classes and retreats were conducted here.
