Founded in 1930, this Society is an affiliate of the Ramakrishna Math. It moved to its present home at Homer Glen in 2008. Swami Ishatmananda is its Minister-in-charge.
Activities:

  1. Daily worship, monthly Ramnam Sankirtan, and annual spiritual retreat.

  2. Sunday services and weekly scripture classes.

  3. Celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.

  4. A library and a bookstore.

  5. Publication of books and a quarterly online magazine Chicago Calling.

  6. An exhibition on Swami Vivekananda in Chicago.

  7. Regular spiritual counselling, and lectures in Chicago and other cities in America and Canada.

  1. School of the World Religions: An online course on Hinduism, and interfaith meetings.
