Started in 1909 and shifted to its present location in 1941, this branch of Ramakrishna Math has Swami Tyagananda as the monk-incharge.

Activities of the Math centre :

  1. Regular prayers and meditation, evening arati, Sunday lectures,
    and weekly classes.

  1. Celebration of the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother
    Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda, Jesus, Buddha and Sri
    Krishna.

  1. The swami conducted weekly classes at Harvard University and
    MIT, and retreats in many cities of North America.

  1. Annual retreat at Greenacre, the sacred site where Swami
    Vivekananda taught Vedanta in 1894.

  1. A children’s camp, regular classes, and a retreat for devotees at the
    Society’s Sarada Ashrama, 50 km to the southeast, at Marshfield,
    which also maintained a shrine for daily prayer and meditation.
