This centre was started in 1985 for the uplift of the tribal people of Abujhmarh.

Activities of the Mission centre :

  1. A residential higher secondary school with 931 students, mostly tribal.

  1. A multipurpose workers’ training centre, which trained 24
    villagers in motor mechanics, driving, tailoring, carpentry etc.

  1. An agriculture training-cum-demonstration unit, which
    trained 1800 farmers. About 15,000 tribal farmers attended the
    Krishak Mela (farmar' fair) organized by this unit. Besides, 
    educational tours for tribal farmers were also conducted.

  1. A central library with 11,513 books and 79 periodicals.

  1. Vivekananda Arogya Dham, a 30-bed hospital, which treated
    1013 inpatients and 47,204 outpatients (including 110 TB cases).

  1. A mobile medical unit, which treated 4938 patients,

  1. Free coaching facilities for 1085 tribal students who are also
    provided with stationery, uniform, food and transport facilities.

  1. Seven fair-price shops and various rural development
    programmes like land repair, digging ponds, etc.

  1. Five tribal service centres at Kutul, Irakbhatti, Kundla, Kachchapal
    and Akabeda, each of which runs a primary / middle school with an
    attached hostel (total strength: 674 students) and maintains a
    a health post (22,799 patients treated) and a horticulture farm.

  1. Celebration of the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna,Holy Mother Sri
    Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and other saints.
