The ashrama was started in 1915.
Activities of the Math centre :
Welfare work by providing textbooks, scholarships, etc to poor
students and pecuniary aid to the needy,spending Rs. 1,39,115.
Regular worship and lectures, and celebration of the birthdays
of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami
Vivekananda and other spiritual luminaries.
A small library with 1600 books and 12 periodocals.
