The Society was started in 1938. Swami Bhaskarananda is the President of this branch of Ramakrishna Math.

Activities of the Math centre :

  1. Daily worship, morning prayers, meditation, vesper services
    and weekly Ramnam Sankirtan.

  1. Sunday services, scripture classes and vigils on special days.

  1. Interviews to spiritual seekers.

  1. Talks in different colleges, schools and church groups at various
    places, and participation in interfaith meetings.

  1. Celebration of the birthdays of some divine personages as well
    as some other religious festivals.

  1. A library, a reading room, and a bookshop.

  1. Publication of Global Vedanta, a quarterly journal in English.

  1. Monthly retreats at Tapovan, the Society’s retreat property near
    Arlington in Snohomish County.
