The Mission centre was started in 2005 at Dilaram Bungalow premises, a place sanctified by the stay of Swami Vivekananda.
The Math centre was started in January 2007 at Kalali, Vadodara (7 kms from the Mission centre). The infrastructural development of the centre is in progress.

Activities of the Mission centre :

  1. A public library and a free reading room with 14,959 books and 41
    newspapers and periodicals.

  1. A mobile medical unit, which functions mainly in rural areas,
    treated 3127 patients during the year. Besides, three free eye camp
    was also conducted (948 patients were screened out of which 109
    operated upon).

  1. A permanent exhibition on Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda.

  1. Spiritual and youth retreats, various cultural programmes,
    seminars on value education, distribution of prizes to brilliant
    students, etc.

  1. Religious activities: Daily prayers, fortnightly Ramnam
    Sankirtan, religious discourses, celebration of the birthdays of
    Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami
    Vivekananda and other spiritual personalities as also festivals like
    Ramnavami, Janmashtami, Buddha Jayanti, Christmas Eve, etc.

  1. Vivek-Rath, a mobile unit for conducting value education
    programmes in villages with audio-visual unit; several camps 
    were conducted which screened 55 films, 3560 students and
    villagers were benefitted.

  1. Welfare work by way of daily distribution of milk and snacks, etc to the poor.
